Senior Security Technician/Specialist
Concept is currently seeking a senior Security Technician. The security technician establishes security service by installing security alarm systems and equipment; verifying system performance; maintaining records. This position requires an individual with experience in all types of Intrusion Systems, CCTV, Card Access, Integrated IP Solutions, and Intercom Systems. The candidate must have a valid drivers license, clean drivers abstract, and a clear security clearance.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares for security installations by reviewing installation orders; gathering equipment, supplies, and tools; coordinating schedules with customers
Plans security installations by surveying and evaluating location; identifying alarm installation requirements; laying-out equipment and wiring plan
Establishes security system by installing equipment; running and pulling wiring; programming and calibrating equipment. This includes card access control, CCTV, perimeter protection equipment and alarm controls
Adheres to company and provincial codes, regulations, and standards
Verifies security system is functioning properly by testing equipment, connections, and signals; identifying and correcting problems
Maintains records by documenting installation
Maintains customer rapport by resolving concerns, answering questions and training customers
Maintains safe and secure work environment by following safe practices; keeping security information confidential.
Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
Qualifications required:
Minimum three years experience in all types of security systems, Alarm Systems, CCTV, Card Access, Network Knowledge and Intercom Systems.
A strong understanding of the processes and procedures of Security Systems.
A good knowledge of building systems and relevant standards
Strong computer skills - proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable of PC applications
Proven organizational and management skills, including the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks and contribute to refinements and improvements in a dynamic environment
Strong strategic, problem solving, decision making, and analytical skills
Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
You must possess proven diagnostic skills, be able to systematically identify and resolve technical problems, be self-motivated and calm under pressure

Senior Automation Technician
This position is responsible for providing the technical support to keep system downtimes to minimum, analyze, trouble-shoot, repair and restore equipment and systems to full operation and makes recommendations for improvements. This position conducts preventive maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning including detailed troubleshooting of systems. Responsible for high levels of customer satisfaction, complete technical competence, mentoring of other technicians and proper completion of required project and service documentation.
Responsibilities include:
Assists with installation and commissioning required to implement solutions and for sustaining all of the building automation systems installed on site.
Assist and coordinate of the installation of BAS equipment in various installations.
Perform graphical interface and programming controller to accomplish HVAC routines.
Conduct start-up, final point check-out and calibration of all systems and its BAS components.
Keep supervisor apprised of job progress and all pertinent facts concerning the job while
providing information to update drawings and records of completed tasks.
Commissioning of building controls and HVAC equipment.
Design assist with larger projects.
Creates interoperability between installed BAS systems, Personal Computers, Client Servers,
Web connections and other operating systems as required.
Diagnoses and repairs complex control systems malfunctions requiring extensive knowledge of a variety of electronic or digital control systems and the ability to test and write modifications in multiple languages of systems software.
Provides field proposals for retrofits, upgrades and or enhancements to existing equipment.
Assists sales by providing technical recommendations for sales leads.
Provides required input to complete accurate as built drawings depicting installation details
Manages assigned work to meet professional and efficient execution of time and customer
satisfaction.
Qualifications required:
Trade ticket as Journeyman Electrician, Refrigeration/HVAC Mechanic.
Post secondary education in Computer Sciences, Electronics, Electrical.
Over ten years related mechanical, technical, HVAC, electronic controls experience.
Internet, networks, IT and IP structure, Java programming and advanced computer systems
knowledge
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read complex blueprints.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Visio, MS office programs and Automation systems
programming experience.
Must have a valid Driver's license.
Understanding of Tridium, Niagara software an asset.
Detailed orientation and experience with LON and BACNet
Effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to customers and other outside contacts.
Possesses the ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.
Must have experience in writing as well as demonstrated understanding of computer programs
and software applications as related to the HVAC industry.

Reporting to the Vice President of Concepts Integrated Service Department, this position ensures the provision of administrative and accounting services for the Service Division and provides support to the Service Managers. This position requires leadership, process, systems and accounting expertise and background.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate and supervise the activities of clerical and administrative service personnel
Liaison between General Manager and administrators
Respond to management inquiries and provide management reporting
Responsible for work in progress reports, AR, AP
Monitor and report work order and contract gross margin discrepancies
Participation and support for revenue and service forecasting
Track and monitor progress of corrective action requests
Support service managers and service sales as required

Assist with special projects for the service management group
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

PROJECT MANAGER
Concept Electric is currently seeking Project Managers - one to be located in Edmonton. This position is responsible for the success of projects by focusing on the customer relationship and administrative and operational processes required. This position manages the day to day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale projects.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Delivery of assigned client and internal projects on time and on budget.
- Develop, promote and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, general contractors, architects, etc.
- Analyzes and accurately forecasts profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization Ensure all front end documents are accurate and in place (contracts, SOV, permits, drawings)
- Collaborate with others for the Customer Gap Analysis, Statement of Work preparation, process redesign and implementation support
- Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors and finance
- Secure and manage all required sub-contractors
- Tracking and reporting of all project data and preparing weekly, monthly and ad hoc written reports
- Work with field and customer to capture and ensure the timely processing of all change orders
- Inform client of cost of labour overruns; formulates actions to keep project on time and budget
- Interface with estimation and sales
- Develop job plans and coordinate job turnovers
- Establish purchase orders
- Coordinate with Site Superintendents to ensure they are informed on all contract and project details
- Establish contract billing lines and facilitate customer invoicing and collections
- Deliver jobs to job plan costs and specifications and conduct project close outs
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Project Management certification (PMP) is strongly preferred
Minimum of five years experience in an expanding and demonstrable Project Management role, in the construction industry
Experience in determining construction labour productivity factors, wage rates, indirect field costs and project adjustment factors.
Strong computer skills and excellent problem solving and decision making skills
Proven organizational and management skills, including the ability to prioritize
Ability to communicate effectively to all relevant stakeholders
Ability to provide accurate analysis and assessment and strategies
Excellent command of the English language in both written and oral forms.

Senior Financial Accountant
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Financial Accountant focuses on the day to day accounting systems, procedures and processes, and ensures compliance to GAAP and internal control policies.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results
Plan, organize and coordinate month-end close processes
